Tercet Offices to Close Permanently on
May 31, 2008
Chicago…March 4, 2008 – After nearly nine years in business, The Tercet Group will close its doors on May 31, 2008, the company's partners announced this week.
Tercet is a fully woman-owned marketing and design firm based in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood. Since opening in 1999, the company has worked with a wide range of companies and non-profit organizations to develop and implement strategic marketing plans. Tercet received the ATHENAPowerLink® Chicago Area 2006 Business of the Year Award from the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center (CEC).
In a statement released by the companyís three partners – Aimee Floto, Pam Helminski Devitt and Terri Scales – the decision to close Tercet's offices was reached collectively. It comes at a time when it makes the most sense from both a professional and personal standpoint for each partner.
"Like our original plan to launch Tercet, this decision was made in earnest and after careful consideration," the statement reads. "We've appreciated the opportunity to contribute to the growth and livelihood of so many diverse businesses and organizations. Tending to our own company's development has also been a constant source of satisfaction for each of us. And yet, this decision comes at a time when we feel it is the best new course to take."
After May 31st the companyís partners can be reached via e-mail at info@tercetgroup.com. |
