The discovery process Tercet conducted when creating a new corporate brochure for Pro Active Solutions produced far more than ideas and information necessary for the development of the brochure: it also produced a report detailing the management team's thoughts regarding the future of the company that Pro Active's marketing director was able to channel into her long-term strategic plan. Tercet's purpose for conducting the discovery process as a first step in the project was two-fold: streamline development of the brochure by first tapping into Pro Active's core competencies and principles and learning more about the relatively new returns management industry; and create a report that would assist Pro Active's marketing manager with her strategy for the company. Tercet was able to take the interview transcripts and extract ideas and information that directly contributed to the development of the brochure ñ the desired message came through clearly in the initial copy draft.
